Tot O'Whiskey gets the confident vote in this maiden hurdle with Dreamaker and Craiglands rating the main dangers. The selection was a fair sort in bumpers and was not beaten far in a grade one event when last seen. He is sure to have been well schooled for this his hurdling debut and he need only put in a clear round to score. Dreamaker rates the main danger on his latest second behind Love That Benny but he looks vulnerable to a less exposed type. Craiglands hails from a top yard and this well bred Dushyantor gelding out of a lightly-raced mare should be watched in the market. Of the remainder St James Gate has improved of late but will need to improve again for the fitting of first time cheekpecies if he is to score and with this in mind for the winner we return to Tot O'Whiskey who is taken to win this before going on to better things.
