In depth

Verdict

Musical Script looks the percentage call in an opener where it's possible to pick holes in the form of plenty of them, with Multahab, Rosie Cross and Talcen Gwyn others considered. The selection is perhaps more of a 6f specialist, but he does have a fair bit of toe in the context of this race and is at least both in form and below his winning mark, so he is a tentative choice. Multahab popped up at a big price for Michael Wigham over this trip at Wolverhampton last month but looked in the grip of the handicapper last time and may need a drop, and the same goes for Rosie Cross, who beat a bunch of three-year-olds over c&d in September before being slammed over 6f last time when up in the weights. Talcen Gwyn has slipped back towards his last winning mark and should not be far away at all, while Blessed Place is best of the rest, but Musical Script may be able to call the tune.
