Verdict
Wavertree Princess, Kalligal and Jeninsky look best of those who have experience, while Traitor's Gate is an interesting newcomer and the vote goes to Kalligal. The Kyllachy filly tries the polytrack for the first time after a good recent outing over this trip at Windsor, which saw her finish runner up to Seasider in maiden company. That was on good to soft, but she has handled good to firm well enough before that, so hopefully this surface should present no problems and she is taken to score. Wavertree Princess ran pretty well in a fairly decent maiden at Sandown last month and steps back up to 6f here. If she can repeat that effort she may make the frame. Jeninsky looks to have potential for improvement after a pleasing soft ground Haydock debut and would not need to find too much to figure. Mark Johnston doesn't have a huge amount of success with juvenile debutantes, but Traitor's Gate is related to a triple 5f juvenile winner, so the market could prove interesting. Without that to help we will stick with Kalligal.
