Verdict

CAPITAL VENTURE was very green on his hurdling debut at Kelso but still managed to finish on the coat-tails of the placed horses and will know more today. With Lucy Alexander claiming 7lb, he's fancied to get the better of Bangor bumper winner King's Grace who has been off the track for a year. Bury Parade made a satisfactory reappearance when second in a Carlisle bumper last month and looks the pick of the remainder, though Pinerolo wasn't disgraced over a longer trip here 12 days ago.
