In depth

Verdict

CASH ON FRIDAY is only four pounds higher since landing the odds at Carlisle last time out and he is given the vote to follow up at the expense of Old Noddy and Copper's Gold. The selection was coming back from a five-month break when getting his head in front on his return at Carlisle last month. The ground conditions will be different this time around but he has got winning form on a fast surface so he should have no problems handling these quicker ground conditions. Old Noddy has six more pounds on his plate after his latest success over course and distance. He is a tough and consistent sort that still looks nicely treated so any market moves should be noted. Copper's Gold is still only lightly raced and is open to further improvement. He broke his maiden tag at Musselburgh last time out and is only four pounds higher in the weights as a result so warrants plenty of respect. This looks a tricky race to call but Cash On Friday has more ticks in his boxes compared to the majority of his rivals and gains the narrow vote.
