Verdict

Although conceding a stone and more to his rivals, this is a perfect oppertunity for No Panic to complete a hat-trick of victories and he should be capable of soing so. Peter Bowan's charge displayed some ability in bumpers but obstacles look to have brought about the best in him judged on his two latest efforts. His Cartmel performance was taking to say the least, disposing of the smart Stellenbosch in the process. While the 12l winning margain exagerates his superiority as the second did not look the stoutest of stayers, there does not appear to be anything of Stellenbosch's ability in this and No Panic looks to have a simple task. Strobe was a moderate handicapper on the flat and from what we have seen so far the same assessment can be made of his ability over hurdles while Ice Image, who showed ability in bumpers could be the one to avail if anything untoward happens to the favourite. No Panic is the pick to land the finale.
