In depth

Verdict

IBLEO has returned from a lengthy absence in fine form having undergone wind surgery. He’s won both starts over fences including over a shorter trip here last time when Charlie Deutsch could afford to ease him down in the closing stages and is taken to defy a hike in the weights. Mr Mcgo opened his account over fences with victory on faster going at Doncaster while Oscar Wilde beat a subsequent winner at Sedgefield last time and can figure again. Rizzardo was no match for the winner in this grade at Fakenham recently having won over track and trip before that but Canelo has gone the wrong way since placing at Sandown on his debut.
