Verdict
Malanos didn't beat much on his hurdling debut at Leicester but has done well since, finishing a fair second to Specialagent Alfie at Sandown nine days ago. He's only a pound higher here so must go well and makes more appeal than the other four-year-old Rasam Aldaar. Kayaan doesn't look particularly well handicapped but will enjoy the quicker ground, as will JUBAIL. This is his easiest task for a while and he would take all the beating if reproducing the form of last year's fifth in the Fred Winter at Cheltenham off a 6lb higher mark. Bumper winner Be All Man makes his handicap debut and looks best of the rest.
