Lastofthepilots has steadily improved in bumpers and landed one at Limerick's Christmas meeting but faces a stiff task on his hurdling debut as does Rear View, another who has progressed in bumpers. Taraval was a little disappointing when strongly fancied at Clonmel after a couple of better efforts while there is very little between Troubled, Lord Gale and Mystic Desir, who occupied the minor berths behind Bridgets Pet at Naas last time. Troubled did best that day and there's no reason why he shouldn't do so again but SHEER GENIUS, an excellent runner-up in a handicap over 2m here last month, should be suited by the longer trip and is given the nod in an open contest.
