Verdict

Both Donnas Palm and SLIEVEARDAGH are penalised but have been keeping much better company. The former gained a surprise success over the useful Foildubh at Navan though that's very much his favourite track as he's unbeaten in five starts there. He's an obvious threat to all but Edward O'Grady's charge could have his measure as his second to First Lieutenant in a Grade 3 at Tipperary was an excellent run and he holds Imperial Shabra, who was six lengths behind. Lead Kindly Light deserves a crack at this better grade after two very convincing victories in handicaps though he definitely has more to do.
