Verdict

BERGO and Philip Hide can prove too strong for Tony McCoy and Noticeable and that pair look to have this race between them. Private Lives has only scored once over timber and looks to have plenty to find on his chase bow, Hi Tide is rated a little higher but still has it all to do following a poor run at Bangor whilst Musical Weld has yet to show enough to think that he's capable of winning a race of this nature. Noticeable has done well since joining this yard and there was no disgrace in his defeat behind a smart prospect on his latest start. His sole success over fences came at this track in a fair race for the level and his consistency is a big point in his favour. He does, however, have to concede 6lbs to Bergo as a result and preference is for Gary Moore's runner despite his lack of experience over birch. He's also making his debut for the yard having shown a decent level of form for his previous connections. Noticeable will ensure that this isn't easy but Bergo should have enough class to pick him off if his jumping holds up.
