In depth

Verdict

Rock The House looked likely to finish third approaching the last at Wetherby but took advantage when the two in front veered across the track. Cremant went close at Plumpton while Cheng Gong finished second over a shorter trip at Lingfield. On Springs found one too good at Carlisle and is preferred to Wincanton runner-up Noble Savage but a speculative vote in an open contest goes to BLACKFINCH. The latter finally looks set to open his account after going close at Leicester last month having slid down the weights.
