Verdict

This looks a penalty kick for PREDATEUR as it's a race that's his for the taking given a clear round while both Ringaroses and Mister Wiseman can fight it out for the minor honours. The selection has been racing in all the top races over hurdles and chases throughout his career. He has as a consequence only won twice as a result and the latest of those victories came at Uttoxeter in March. He does however retain his novice status until the autumn so connections are keen to win again before he is restricted to handicaps. He has been well placed here and is appearance has warned off a few rivals so with a clear round he ought to win. Ringaroses has his first run over fences. He was good enough to win two novice hurdles a couple of years ago but since then his form has taken a nose dive. That said if he takes to the larger obstacles he maybe good enough to chase the favourite home. Mister Wiseman is also making his debut over fences. He won a handicap hurdle at Market Rasen last year but will have to raise his game to be in the shake up here. .
