STARR FLYER is given the vote to land what is a poor finale with Thehonourablelady and Theflyingscottie both worth noting The selection is still a maiden after twelve outings to date but in that time he has caught the eye on a number of occasions. He ran well when second at Stratford in March off a similar mark and he was not discredited when finishing fifth of eleven at Kelso last time out. He has been dropped one pound in the ratings and although he clearly is no world beater this is a race that he is more than capable of winning. Thehonourablelady won back to back races a couple of seasons back and shot up the ratings as a result. She has been out of sorts ever since but has now fallen to a more favourable mark whereby if she could recapture her best she would not be too far away. Theflyingscottie ran a personal best when fourth to Olivino at Wetherby last time out.
