Verdict
SEGAL can win again at the expense of E Major and The Snail. The selection carries a penalty for his success at Hereford last week. He was a fair flat performer when trained by Jeremy Noseda last year and won well on his handicap debut for his new connections. He won with his head in his cheat making a mockery of his rating so connections are doing the right thing running again quickly as the handicapper will have to raise him at least a stone for his recent performance. E Major runs off the same mark as he did when finishing third to Palos Conti and could still be fairly treated. He is still only lightly raced and if showing further improvement he will not be far away come the business end of the race. The Snail won well at Uttoxeter on his penultimate start but then disappointed at the same venue last time out. That performance raises question marks but any market moves should be noted.
