In depth

Verdict

Kloud Gate has failed to beat a rival in his last three starts and the fitting of a visor would need to have a major impact. Rukwa has won his last two, including one over course and distance, and Sam England’s in-form gelding will make a bold bid to defy a 10lb rise in the ratings but BUTTSBURY LADY (NAP) was an eye-catcher making her handicap debut in a Grade 2 at Newbury at the end of March. She won her bumper on today’s quicker surface and a 3lb drop in the weights is a massive bonus. Galan Des Planches also represents Nicky Henderson but he may need more time.
