In depth

Verdict

Mister Right has gone up 10lbs for his winning return to hurdling at Lingfield last month but that is fair enough and he is taken to follow up in this weaker looking event, getting the verdict ahead of Cool Roxy and Phoenix Eye. The last mentioned has run creditably in all starts this season and is entitled to be thereabouts again but may once more have to settle for minor honours. Orange Street slipped up early on last time and, if none the worse for that, cannot be ruled out. Neither Meadow Hawk nor Explosive Fox look good enough and a bigger threat may come from the more consistent Cool Roxy, although he may prefer further to show his best form. The trip is ideal for Mister Right though and in his current form, he gets the vote.
