    Verdict

The betting will help distinguish between the chances of Jonjo O'Neill's quartet however on jockey bookings Kia Kaha looks the one to side with and he gets the vote at the main expense of Rood Report. The selection makes his hurdling debut this afternoon having shown plenty of ability in two bumper starts last year. He is sure to have been well-schooled and this half-brother to Miss That is fancied to win today. The form of Rood Report's most recent start has been franked by the winner going in three times since (including a very competitive and valuable handicap last time) and given that was just his first run back from a long break, he must be feared. Sonic Anthem deserves a look as a course and distance winner, the only one in the field however he came up short last time and needs to step up. Warsaw Pact was well-fancied on his hurdling debut but put in an abject display and this former Sir Mark Prescott inmate needs to prove that jumping is his game. Cordier is another who could bounce back to form and would therefore be a player, however it is Kia Kaha who is given the nod.
