Verdict
Go West Young Man definitely goes on the short-list here as the form of his Leicester second was franked when the winner went in again at that track last week. Zerachiel was second over hurdles at Bangor last month and won a point-to-point last spring so should handle fences. Shanroe Santos completed at Wetherby last time and that should have given him a bit of confidence while Ganbei has won nine races between the flags as well as three hurdles, though isn’t getting any younger. PETITE POWER (NAP) was just touched off at Lingfield on his chasing bow. The front two left the rest, including a subsequent winner, in another parish and Fergal O’Brien’s charge can go one better today.
