Verdict

CALL MY LORD, a dual winner in France, made an impressive start for Nicky Henderson when carrying a big weight to victory in a handicap at Sandown in April where he defied a bad mistake at the last. Only four, he looks a cracking recruit to the yard and can make a successful reappearance. High Secret, six times a winner on the Flat for Sir Mark Prescott, won a couple of minor races over timber earlier this year and has performed with credit on the level this summer. Caid du Lin couldn't handle the step up to Listed company at Ascot after a 6lb rise for his victory at Fontwell and though Unison has a tremendous career strike-rate of 11-45 he hasn't been in the best of form on the Flat. The latter remark also applies to So Celebre, who followed a maiden hurdles victory here in March with another in a Class 2 juvenile handicap at Ascot. East Indies is 5lb out of the handicap and has plenty to do.
