Verdict

Only three of these have chasing experience but it would be disappointing if the likes of Commandant, Supakalanistic and Real Warrior were good enough to repel the newcomers. Definitelyanoscar is proving a consistent sort over timber so goes on the shortlist. Renwick will know his job and won twice over the smaller obstacles last season. Shanty Alley is another possibility while Lively Article was very lightly raced over timber after winning between the flags. MANNING ESTATE only won once over hurdles but always looked likely to make a better chaser and gets his chance to prove that theory today.
