In depth

Verdict

Party Games and Espresso Forte are the ones to consider and we will side with Party Games. Gary Moore's yard are in flying form at present and while Party Games has not quite hit the heights this season, he has been racing on ground that was a little too testing for him and as a proven good ground performer, there is a lot to like about him this afternoon. Espresso Forte was backed off the boards at Taunton. He travelled well for the first half of the race but did not stride out too well once the race began in earnest. The market should be consulted to see if that race has had any ill effects. Superrollercoaster was a fair hurdler on his day. He has not cut too much ice over the larger obstacles since making the switch. Pirandello has not won for three years but is at least proven on the surface. Red Socialite has it to do. Party Games is the preferred option.
