In depth

Verdict

Bradley Boy for the in-form Carl Llewellyn stable gets the nod here ahead of More Trouble and Jonjo O'Neil's Dancewiththedevil. The last-named ran in the big Aintree bumper last season, but finished last of all so can not be highly recommended today. However it can be assumed that that was not his true running, and if stripping fit today he could go well in a what doesn't look the strongest of novice hurdle races. More Trouble fell heavily last time out at kempton but if not affected by that tumble he could go well at decent odds, however for the winner we return to Bradley Boy. He turned over the hot favourite Leading Contender a month ago, and although he will get further in time, he can add another victory to his tally and give Carl Llewellyn his first victory at the track as a trainer.
