        Verdict

        Right Option has run well on two of his three visits to the track and he gets the vote ahead of Featherlight and Isola Madre. The last-named represents a stable in great form, with the North Yorkshire trainer chalking up the winners, and Mark Johnston's runner should step up on previous efforts now in Nursery company. Featherlight ran well on her only previous run at the course when a close fourth to Clive Brittain's Habalwatan, and a reproduction of that run would see her go close today. Of the rest, Paul Howling has a fine record with his two-year-old's at the track so his runner Best Woman can not be totally discounted although she is stepping up in trip and would have to improve markedly on previous efforts to figure here. Similarly Mick Channon does well at the track although his filly Fun Thai is inconsistent and thus is passed over. In what is a moderate start to today's marathon card, Right Option gets the tentative vote.
