Verdict
Arctic Wings, Peregrine Falcon, Tenancy and Fired Up make up the shortlist here with the tentative vote going to Jamie Osbourne's Tenancy. The selection ran in a hot maiden at York last time out, but ruined his chances by getting upset in the stalls before the race and can certainly give a better account of himself this evening if handling the surface. Peregrine Falcon was backed into favouritism eleven days ago over course and distance and although running with credit, he failed to stride on when asked to and it may be that he would prefer a more galloping track. Arctic Wings finished ahead of Peregrine Falcon that day, and thus he must enter calculations although he possibly lacks the scope for improvement of the former. Market support for the Godolphin newcomer Fired Up would prove significant, although as it is their debutantes have been needing the run this winter, and so we return to Tenancy as our idea of the winner.
