Verdict

This is the most interesting race on the card and looking at the hurdles form of this sextet it should go the way of Nicky Henderson's DAVE'S DREAM just ahead of forner Greatwood Hurdle winner Numide and Andrew Turnell's Michael Flips. Gaining a mark of 147 during his time over timber, by winning the Imperial Cup and running well at the Cheltenham Festival, the pick sets the standard here and should do just as well a a chaser. Numide's form dropped off under high marks after his Greatwood Hurdle success but this chase debut represents a new start for Gary Moore's gelding, who should also be better for a blow out on the level recently. Michael Flips has a bit to find based on his hurdles outings but did run well on his seasonal bow. Matuhi looks the only other to consider after winning over fences last time but if all goes to form Dave's Dream should take this.
