In depth

Verdict

In an open looking contest SEA CADET should build on his success last time out and get the better of Good Harvest and Dune Raider. After staying on well to win with a bit to spare last time on his first start in just under 200 days the pick has been hit by a seven pounds penalty. Three of that has been removed by his top apprentice pilot and off bottom weight another bold bid is in the offing. Good Harvest struggled when under a pound higher load last time but that was following a comfortable success on similar ground so a return to top form is expected. Dr Newland's runners are going well at present and his Dune Raider is only a pound higher in the weights than when last scoring so has to be considered a leading player. A step up in trip doesn't look ideal for Paradise Regained on what he has achieved so far while Orfeo Conti looks competitive on these terms. This should be a good contest that can go the way of last time out winner Sea Cadet.
