In depth

Verdict

THE TIN MINER couldn’t cope with Crossley Tender at Fontwell last month but the winner is much improved and the bottom weight here will have benefited from that run. With Nathan Brennan taking off a further 8lb, Chris Gordon’s charge could be the value against the in-form Mr Washington with the latter closely matched with Crown Hill on Ludlow running. Ding Ding is best at Plumpton but Coillte Eile is well treated on past form and she attracted market support when third at Ascot. Demon Fou can’t get much lower in the weights with Wetherby second March Is On also worth considering.
