In depth

Verdict

Classic Tune has only gone up 5lb for a surprise victory at Southwell but takes on better opposition here. Veteran Great Hall usually runs well here but is likely to find at least one too good again. PROJECT MARS (NAP) is 2-2 over track and trip and can defy a 4lb rise to extend his unblemished record with his yard still going great guns as Shanroe Tic Tec has been raised the same amount for finishing second at Market Rasen. Dragonfruit won a novice chase off this mark at Carlisle nine days ago and still has scope while Bells Of Peterboro could also figure after almost 12 months on the sidelines. Adjourned may be best of the rest.
