Chasamax would have every chance with a repeat of his third at Cheltenham back in November but he’s struggled in all-weather bumpers recently and KAKAMORA is preferred. The latter was no match for subsequent Grade 2 winner Faivoir when second at Ludlow last time but Tom George’s charge should go close in this company. Old Friend wasn’t disgraced when fifth at Newbury on his hurdling debut and makes more appeal than Oasis Prince and Thirtyfourstitches while Design Icon is related to five winners and is a newcomer to keep an eye on.
