      Verdict

      Knight's Parade appeared to get outpaced over further at Sedgefield last time and Royal Battalion has been out with the washing since winning at Fontwell last August. Vendredi Trois is looking a few pounds too high but should have benefited from his comeback run at Chepstow. PONGO TWISTLETON (NAP) has yet to place over hurdles but has been shaping with promise in more competitive races than this and really should be capable of winning off his current mark given his unexposed profile. Tell The Tale has also hinted at ability and James King’s claim is a big plus.
