Verdict

The Two Amigos was raised 4lb after finishing second at Taunton in March and couldn’t cope next time. Benefit Of Luck was only second when favourite for a five-runner maiden at Chepstow but could fare better now handicapping. Ballyheigue Bay won at Plumpton in March but was then well beaten at Newbury and really needs softer ground. MIDNIGHT MONTY had become disappointing over fences but was rejuvenated by a switch back to hurdles here last month. A 5lb rise makes things more difficult today but he is probably the one to beat as Sebastian Beach ran poorly at Warwick 10 days ago and Time Is Money will probably need this.
