Nonrunner

In depth

Verdict

A humdrum affair to round off the card and Domenico is the token selection with Big John Macarty and Act Gold the alternatives. Graham Lee is riding well at present and with fast ground anticipated, conditions are very much suiting Domenico. He wins in his turn. Big John Macarty still searches for his first ever victory. Trip and ground suit. Act Gold is off a feather weight. He put up some improved form when finishing second at Wetherby two runs ago but was outclassed at Aintree on his latest start. Stars Delight is respected as a previous course and distance victor. Reidwil was the subject of a heavy gamble at Newton Abbot on soft. That was over seven furlongs less than today's event so the market is paid more than just a cursory glance. Deo Gratias has proved disappointing and is tried again in cheekpieces. Galandora is best of the rest. Domenico gets the nod.
