An uninspiring affair in which a chance is taken about Dancing Tilly although Idlewild and Private Jessica are given a cursory glance in the betting. Richard Fahey's charge has not been seen out over hurdles for well over a year but this is such a poor contest that he only need reproduce his recent flat performances to win it. Idlewild has to be respected from the father and son team of the Pogson family. He is a winner in this grade although there are a couple of question marks about the going on this occasion. Private Jessica is dropped into this grade for the first time while Regal Act, who had some decent form in Ireland, continues his plummet down the ratings. Not a race for the faint hearted and Dancing Tilly secures our selection.
