Verdict
This is a competitive hunter chase to round off the card and the leading lights look to be The Butterwick Kid, Mr Mahdlo and Jacksonville with the vote given to The Butterwick Kid. The selection is in the latter stages of his career but showed the right spirit to score on heavy ground at Newcastle in February. He was a fair fifth behind Cobreces last time out and in what looks an easier race he is taken to score. Mr Mahdlo rates the main danger as he has some decent form and he will handle the ground, but he has been off the track for nearly a year and he may just need the run today. Jacksonville was a fair third behind Barryscourt Lad at Ayr last time when he was doing his best work at the finish. He will be suited by the step-up in trip and with ground conditions to suit he should be capable of making the frame. Benny Boy is in good heart and could prove the best of the rest and for the winner we will return to The Butterwick Kid.
