In depth

Verdict

Sound Of Cheers gets the vote in this trappy selling chase with Ocean Dancer and Kalic d'Alm rating the main dangers. The selection was a fair third behind Jusdtwhateverulike last time out, this represents a drop in class and under conditions that suit he is given the tentative nomination. Ocean Dancer rates the main danger on his best form but he has been let down by his jumping this season so cannot be put forward with much confidence. Kalic d'Alm is another that could go well on his latest third behind Ballynure but consistency is not his strong point. Prince Dundee would be a danger to all on his best form but has shown little of late. Norminster has two ways of running but could go well if on a going day but for the winner we return to Sound Of Cheers in a race that does little to get the pulse racing.
