Verdict

TROOPER TURNBULL will likely prove popular expected to build on October’s short-head defeat over course and distance. He finished well clear of the rest on that occasion and Rose Dobbin’s charge makes more appeal than Esme Shelby. The latter drops down in trip after placing over 2m4f at Newcastle while the remainder are harder to recommend with both Honda Fifty and Grumpy Mcgrumpface were well beaten at the same Carlisle fixture on their respective hurdling debuts.
