In depth

Verdict

There's a school of thought that believes Bretton Woods could be well handicapped and we subscribe to it; it will be interesting to see how he fares in the market in comparison to his professionally ridden stablemate. Stravaigin, Heez A Steel and Charles Street have obvious claims whilst Tycheros was gambled on last time and is one to monitor. The selection has disappointed on his last two starts which has to be a concern but he showed promise when making the frame on his debut in a bumper and again when midfield on his hurdling bow. It's that run that suggests he has the scope to win from his present mark as the race has worked out very nicely indeed. He has his trip and ground today and is worth chancing. Heez A Steel is a solid option but is more exposed than many in this line-up which must be a concern. Tycheros may benefit from stepping up in trip whilst Jonty's Lass looks to be running into form and is feasibly weighted at present. Competitive stuff but Bretton Woods could prove to be a handicap snip.
