In depth

Verdict

Grand Slam, Ideal du Bois Beury and Arctic Lagoon are three against the field in another tough race to call for punters and the tentative vote is given to Grand Slam. The selection was a fair third behind Flaming Heck last time out. That form has since been franked and with the step up in trip sure top suit he looks the one to be on. Ideal du Bois Beury rates the main danger on his best form and he looks capable of winning off this mark. However he is very hard to win with and at likely odds he looks worth opposing. Arctic Lagoon is another that could go well on his best form but he has not progressed as expected and at likely odds he looks worth taking on. Persian Point is another that will appreciate this longer trip having been third behind Ceder Rapids last time but he looks to have enough weight for what he has actually achived. Of the remainder Little Flora has dropped to a handy mark and could go well at a price but for the winner we return to the consistent Grand Slam.
