In depth
Verdict
Tell Henry deserves to get his head in front having found just one too good in each of his two starts this term and despite having gone up 6lbs since the latest off those efforts Martin Todhunter's gelding is taken to go one better here, getting the verdict ahead of Russian Sky and King Harald. The last mentioned disappointed when last seen but has slipped to a decent mark now and the break since May might well have helped the nine-year-old. Sue Smith's Hold The Bid stepped up on the effort of his reappearance run when a decent second at Carlisle last time and would have solid claims if improving again. Snowy was staying on well before unseating his rider at Wetherby last time and has to be considered, although a bigger threat may come from recent Carlisle winner Russian Sky but an 8lb rise for that success leaves him with more to do. Tell Henry has solid claims though and he is taken to gain a deserved success.
