Verdict

Halcyon Days saves his best for Carlisle and made a successful reappearance at the latter track. He should go well, however, and so should Civil Unrest, narrowly beaten over track and trip a fortnight ago with CHAIN OF BEACONS only a length further back in third. But the latter is fancied to turn the tables today as he won last year’s renewal with a comeback run under his belt. Alizee De Janeiro won at Perth during the summer but Monsieur Co managed just the one win in seven starts for Paul Nicholls and has switched yards subsequently.
