Verdict
Troubled Soul finished closer at Chepstow last time having slipped down the weights and Cool Valley posted one of his better efforts when fourth at Hexham last month. But neither have won over fences so far and Lucinda Russell may have found a good spot for SIMONE to make her debut over fences. The latter has had five starts over timber without success but chasing could be her game given she’s related to three winning chasers including the top-class Arkle winner Simonsig. Point-to-point winner Left Back is another chasing newcomer but Monsieur Arkadin was still well beaten when third at Stratford recently.
