Verdict
An intriguing race where Westernmost is only a tentative selection over the frustrating Totally Scottish and Chems Truce; although it would also be folly to rule out Beat The Heat of following up his victory at Aintree earlier in the month. However, Westernmost looked to be a useful enough prospect when he was last seen out in action and can be expected to find races come his way now that he is set to return. There does have to be a slight doubt after his long absence but his yard are more than capable of getting one ready after a spell on the sidelines. The son of Most Welcome is adaptable with regard to a ground preference and a bold bid is anticipated. Beat The Heat put in a tenacious display last time and could be the one to be with if the betting ring speaks against Westernmost first time out this season.
