Verdict

Douglas Julian beat third-placed Monogram in a hunter chase over these fences last time but that was the former's only win since 2012. Romany Ryme beat Oscar Lateen at Carlisle back in December but has been in woeful form subsequently and BESCOT SPRINGS is preferred. The latter showed signs of a resurgence when third over hurdles on his latest start and can race off the same mark back over fences. Stablemate Kai Broon also posted a better effort on his latest start and veteran Or De Grugy went close here at this time last year.
