In depth
Verdict
Stout stayer MAJOR MALARKEY has the edge at the weights and wasn't disgraced when fifth in much better company than this at Haydock a fortnight ago - he looks the one to beat. Railway Dillon is next best on his narrow-margin defeat by Douglas Julian over these fences when War On was tailed off and Bayfirth failed to complete. Tommysteel and Senor Loco have both been running well in point-to-points of late but the former is rated much higher under Rules.
