Verdict
Undeterred has found a new lease of life now that he has proved his stamina for this sort of trip and he is fancied to make his journey south pay dividends; possibly at the expense of Banknote and Outer Hebrides. The last named has been a touch frustrating over the years and has struggled to live up the early promise he showed for David Loder. However, he is a capable tool in this sort of company and is worth noting in the betting today. Banknote has won 4 of his previous 9 starts and has the capabilities of giving The Queen a belated birthday present. He is on a 3lb higher in his quest for a three-timer and has a feasible chance on these terms. However, a 247-day absence has to be a worry and he may just be sharper for the outing. Therefore, we switch to Undeterred, whose attitude is unquestionable and has a solid chance of deliver the goods under a useful 5lb claimer.
