        Verdict

        A wide open handicap here and many would have chances on their best form but the principals look to be Soyuz, Just Fly, Ettrick Water and Chateau Nicol and the vote goes to Soyuz. The selection won well last time out when defeating Cheese 'n' Biscuits and although she is dropping in trip she has plenty of pace and is taken to score. Just Fly rates the main danger he was a fair third behind Taranaki last time and that form has since been franked so he is a danger to all. Ettrick Water is sure to strip fitter here than for her debut this season but she looks high enough in the weights and is passed over on this occasion Of the remainder Chateau Nicol is sure to have the race run to suit and could run well at a price but for the winner we return to Soyuz.
