In the maiden, Telltime gets the call over Drifting Gold and Pappas Image. With four placings from six efforts, form at today's trip and a rating of 70, Drifting Gold has to be afforded plenty of respect, even though she has yet to race at this track. Telltime has though, and she showed pelnty of promise when second over course and distance on her debut. She is fully entitled to improve on that and gets the vote today. Krakatau has shown promise and has improved from run one to two, but more will be needed from him today. Pappas Image's run behind Elhareer last time was fair, and he can be given some thought in first-time headgear and, even though he has yet to fully build on some good earlier efforts, Perlachy's form still rates in the high-60s, which is more than good enough to earn respect in this line-up. For the selection, though, we will stick with Telltime.
