Verdict

SLICK MOVER is preferred here ahead of Freedom Fire and Turjuman in what looks a competitive handicap. The selection has an unbeaten course record to defend today and should appreciate the return to the track after just a fair effort at Southwell last time out. This mark of 64 looks manageable and she can get back to winning ways. Turjuman returns from a break and had a profitable 2009 so is not to be ignored if the market speaks in his favour, Freedom Fire took a while to get off the mark but looks an improver and bumped into a smart horse last time out, whilst New World Order's form is too patchy to get too enthused about. Choral Festival looks very well-handicapped and is interesting if taking to the first-time cheek-pieces, Drizzi ran well in defeat last time out, whilst Acropolis looks a bit fed up with life but as a result the former Arc fourth is racing off a basement mark. The unexposed On Terms is closely-matched with Freedom Fire on their run at Lingfield in January and looks a player, however we are happy to plump for Slick Mover.
