Verdict
An intricate finale and it is only tentatively that PERFECT ACT is put forward ahead of Sakhee's Pearl and Evelyn May. Clive Cox has his horses in good form and this mare has done him proud over the years, winning over £30,000 in prize money. She was in good form when seen at Kempton at the turn of the year and still looks capable of winning of this mark of 78. Evelyn May is a course winner who has run well after a break before so she cannot be ignored with the yard in good form, Ray Of Joy and Lucky Leigh have been in good form on the all-weather of late, whilst Cut The Cackle is now handicapped to win again after a long period of solid (but ultimately winless) efforts. All The Nines has a great record in May so automatically catches the eye as a player on this first run of the year, whilst Sakhee's Pearl completes the line-up and won't be far away if coping with the drop back to six furlongs. The tentative vote goes to Perfect Act
